Full moon yoga and meditation on the beach set Sept. 10

Dimitra Yoga will host a special 90-minute class as the full moon rises, beginning at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, on Savannah Beach at the end of Savannah Road past the Dairy Queen in Lewes.

Attuning oneself to the phases of the moon is an opportunity to reflect inward and a powerful touchstone for setting intentions.

Participants can listen to the soft waves from the bay and the call of the seagulls while moving through soft, flowing moon salutations and concluding with a calming meditation.

Attendees should bring a towel or blanket, journal and pen, and plan to arrive 15 minutes early to park and get settled.

All levels of yoga experience are welcome. Members and nonmembers of Dimitra Yoga are invited to join. Cost is $25 per person for annual and autopay members, $30 for all others. This event typically fills up, so early registration is strongly encouraged. To sign up, go to dimitrayoga.com/workshops.
